Yesterday Carlos and Brenda cleaned the house. Carlos swept the floor, washed the clothes, and cleaned the windows. Brenda dusted, mopped the floors, and took out the trash. When they finished cleaning, they made dinner. Carlos cooked the rice and the beans, and Brenda made the tortillas. When they finished eating, Carlos washed the dishes and Brenda dried the dishes. It was a very productive day because they both helped with the housework.
